Coronavirus (AKA Covid-19) NHS Advice

Understandably we are all concerned about the current threat posed by the coronavirus. We are of course keeping an eye on the situation and will be following all NHS and government advice. As it stands, we believe there is no need to take any further measures than those stated on the NHS website:

  • You only need to stay away from public places (self-isolate) if advised to by the 111 online coronavirus service or a medical professional. Though we would add if you have any symptoms of the virus (high temperature, dry cough, shortness of breath) or of the flu, please stay away from training. Likewise if you have been in contact with anyone known to have the virus or have recently travelled to any of the areas known to have the virus please speak to 111 for advice.

  • Please try to: cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze.

  • Put used tissues in the bin immediately.

  • Wash your hands with soap and water often – use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available (Please wash hands immediately before and after training).

  • Try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell

  • Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean
