Mr Gellard has been training in Tae Kwon-Do since 1974, at first under the leadership of Mr. Witt who despite being a 3rd Kup was in those days a very senior belt.

In the late 70's the club moved to Andover, and in 1985 Mr. Gellard took control.

In 1990 the TAGB awarded Mr. Gellard Instructor of the year giving him a bronze Samurai Warrior, which takes pride of place on his mantelpiece.

Mr. Gellard was proud to be an official at the 1st World Championships, and represented England in the 2nd World Championships in the disciplines of Patterns and Destruction along with several of his Black Belt students.

Mr. Gellard has recently been appointed to the South West are Committee covering mid and north Hampshire, where he is influential in shaping local and through Master Dew 7th Dan (Area Representative) national policy.

Mr. Gellard has been very successful at Andover (the largest club in the TAGB) and subsequently Basingstoke.
